Common questions

Yes. YaHooyeyu supports standard IMAP and SMTP protocols, so any email client works. Use IMAP SSL on port 993 and SMTP SSL on port 465 with your email address and password.

No. You can create an account with just a username and password. A recovery email is optional for account recovery purposes.

All data is stored on servers in the European Union (Germany / Hetzner). We do not use third-party cloud providers to store your email content.

Yes. You can import emails via IMAP using any email client — simply connect your old account and drag messages to your YaHooyeyu folders.

Every outgoing message is signed with DKIM (both RSA-2048 and Ed25519). We also maintain proper SPF and DMARC records for maximum deliverability to Gmail, Outlook and others.
